1. Walk at least 500 miles this year (201 down and 299 to go)
I broke the 200 hundred miles walked mark this week by walking, weightlifting, taking a Zumba class, and doing some really fun YouTube videos.
2. Read two nonfiction or classic books each month
One down and one to go
3. Try to buy nothing new this year
Nothing new was bought this week
4. Take each of my children on an outing by themselves each month Accomplished

This past week, I took Ben to see Detective Pikachu for his outing. It was a really cute movie, but getting to see it with a 7 year old Pokémon fan is priceless. He kept on telling me what the names of each Pokémon were and their powers. I was also really impressed that he guessed the surprise ending way before I did.
5. Have two family game nights each month Accomplished
This week we played Scrabble and Family Trivial Pursuit (which I won!) Ben played Scrabble with us this time and did fairly well. I gave him a few hints like pointing to where he could add on which helped him a lot. I think next time we will play with no restrictions so he can put down any word he wants to and not have to worry if it is a proper noun or not.
6. Complete two home improvements each month
I am woefully behind on this goal for the month…
7. Edit and publish my NaNoWriMo novel
I did absolutely nothing this week towards completing this goal. I do hope to go back and add more to a few chapters this week, but we will see.
8. Learn how to knit and crotchet
No progress on this goal.
9. Try out two new low carb or gluten free recipes each month
One down and one to go
10. Spend less than $500 each month on groceries
This week I spent $120 at Aldi which brings my total so far for the month to $430. I am going to have to do some really creative bargain hunting for the next two weeks if I hope to not go too far over budget for the month.
