Goals

Weekly Goal Update for Week 51

1. Walk at least 500 miles this year (490 down and 10 to go!!)

Wow this year flew by quick! I only have to walk 10 miles during this last week of 2018 to hit my goal of 500 miles.

2. Read two non-fiction books each month

The Screwtape LettersOf Mess and Moxie: Wrangling Delight Out of This Wild and Glorious Life

I picked up The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and Of Mess and Moxie by Jen Hatmaker at the library to read during Christmas week, so hopefully I can check this goal off for the month next week.

3. Eat low carb each day

I did this for all seven days this week.

4. Have two date nights each month  Accomplished

We went out for our 16th wedding anniversary dinner this week…time flies when you are having fun:)

5. Have two family game nights each month Accomplished

This week we played Cranium and Scrabble at our family game night. We had to edit a few of the cards because my kids did not know some of the songs or people that the clues were about, but we had fun nonetheless.

**We started a family tradition 8 years ago that we get to open one new game on Christmas Eve and play it after dinner that night. So we are eagerly looking forward to some new games to liven up our game nights!

6. Buy nothing new this year Suspended

I ended this challenge a little early in November due to the holiday season (and Ben’s bday), but plan on resuming it again in January.

7. Have one no spend week each month

I am currently in my last no spend week of the year and it feels so nice not to be buying anything else after a crazy holiday shopping season.

8. Add six new products to my Teachers pay Teachers store (4 out of 6 completed)

I am currently typing up my final study guide for the year, so I probably will not get all six completed this year, but five out of six is not terrible:)

9. $5 Weekly Challenge

This week I bought three family -sized canned raviolis to add to my food bank stash.
